Leaving the Airport follow the signs to Cape Town (drive toward the enormous Mountain), you will be on a highway called the N2.
Once you are closer to the Mountain, in-fact it will be right in-front of you, the road will fork and you will see signs to Muizenberg on the left turn, ignore the left.. The mountain will then be on your left hand side. The highway will then again branch take the left branch saying ‘De Waal Drive’.
You will then reach a residential area as soon as you go under a bridge walkway over the road, there will be a sharp turn to the left, the road sign saying M3 Camps Bay, as well as Cable Way, (you will be joining another small highway) take that left turn. If you go under the highway bridge, you have gone too far.
You will go over a little bridge with a shopping centre on the left of you. At the traffic light stay in the left hand lane as the road again forks and you want the left fork, which is straight ahead
At the stop street (T junction) turn left up Upper Orange Street.
The 5th street on the right is Montrose Ave, there is a Carlucci coffee shop on the corner. Turn into Montrose Ave and the third house on the left is Abbey Manor.
From Franschoek stay on the R45 toward Paarl, you will see sign posts to N1 Cape Town.
Stay on the N1 till you arrive in the city of Cape Town. Continue straight toward ‘cableway’.
At the 6th traffic light (including the very first one entering Cape Town) turn left into Buitensingel (you cant turn right and it’s a steep road downhill).
At the 3rd traffic light (ignoring the pedestrian light opposite the Mount Nelson Hotel) turn right into Upper Orange (Table Mountain is now right in front of you)
5th street to the right is Montrose Ave
Third house on the left is Abbey Manor.
Always remember there is a huge landmark you must head toward and that is Table Mountain, if the mountain is in-front or to the right of you, you doing well!!
Good Luck and looking forward to welcoming you to Abbey Manor.
