The last few days have been blistering here in Cape Town. Following a cool early summer, temperatures have soared to 36 degrees C. Once again the weatherman has got it wrong, predicting no more than 30!
At Abbey Manor, many guests have decided to stay in and spend the time in the swimming pool.
Forecasts suggest that this will be over by Thursday.
I do hope they are right.
